Begin with the table, not a generic menu
The chef needs to understand the occasion, guest count, ages, dietary needs, preferred style, service level and budget. A relaxed family breakfast, a children-aware supper and a formal hosted dinner require different preparation, staffing and timing.
What we coordinate
The brief connects the culinary provider with the residence and the wider Paris schedule.
- Private-chef and caterer requests
- Menu, dietary and allergy communication
- Kitchen, equipment and property-access checks
- Service staff, tableware and floral referrals
- Breakfast, family meals and celebration dinners
- Arrival, shopping, clean-down and departure timing
The kitchen sets real limits
Before confirmation, the chef or caterer should review kitchen photographs or an equipment list, building access, refrigeration, ventilation, noise rules and the permitted preparation format. A residence provider may restrict commercial activity or outside staff; its written rules take priority.
Food safety and provider terms stay visible
The chef or catering company remains responsible for professional qualifications, hygiene, allergens, staffing, insurance, ingredients and service delivery. PARVIP coordinates the approved plan and records scope, price, cancellation terms and any property charges before commitment.
Good to know
Can a private chef cook in any Paris apartment?
Not automatically. The residence must permit outside staff, and the chef must confirm the kitchen and access are suitable for the agreed menu and service format.
Can you handle allergies and children’s meals?
We record the requirements and share them with the proposed provider, who must confirm what can be safely accommodated. Severe allergies should be discussed directly with the chef before approval.
Can you arrange only one dinner?
Yes. Requests can range from one private meal to breakfast, grocery and dining support across a longer stay, subject to provider availability.
